The Association for International Cancer Research has set aside a specific fund for scientific research into the causes of prostate cancer - we call it the Spotlight Fund.
The amount, regrettably, is finite, but will be sufficient to fund 3 - 4 projects, based on an average annual project cost of around £35,000 - £40,000.
If you wish to submit a research project for consideration, the next round is in October 2008. You should use Prostate Round application form (available from the Downloads page). These documents will be made available closer to the round.
The closing date for applications is 26th October 2008. Applications will only be accepted between the dates of 1-26 October 2008. If you require further information on the Prostate Round of submissions, or the fund please e-mail debbie.wheelans@aicr.org.uk
Acceptance of applications will be subject to initial screening by our Scientific Consultant, and you will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of your application by e-mail once this action has been completed.
