The window for receipt of applications is 1 – 31 October 2008.
It is the responsibility of the Principal Investigator to ensure that the application has been correctly completed and is received at AICR, at the latest, by 5pm on the closing date.
Funding for successful applications will commence on 1 October 2009.
All applications received in the round will be accepted providing that they are correctly completed in accordance with AICR instructions and subject to verification from our Scientific Co-ordinator that the proposed research is within our remit and conforms to our policies. There will then be an initial triage by the AICR Scientific Advisory Committee assessing all of the applications and rejecting those which they consider do not merit further assessment or peer review. There will be no feedback for applications rejected at this stage.
You should ensure that you have read all of the instructions for completion carefully, as well as the information on how your application will be handled.
