About AICR

AICR supports fundamental research into the basic mechanisms involved in the development of cancer.

In the past 26 years, we have supported a large variety of projects in all corners of the world. We currently have more than 220 projects underway in 19 countries.

Our Scientific Advisory Committee sits twice a year to evaluate project proposals from some of the world's top scientists. After intense scrutiny and peer review we then award grants to those projects that meet our strict criteria. This ensures that AICR funds only research of the highest quality.

We are really proud of Phil undertaking this tremendous journey and appreciate the efforts that he is making to fundraise and increase awareness of cancer research.
