A. This is the name of the person of the friend or loved one you wish to commemorate.
Q. I don’t know their year of birth, what should I enter?
A. Leave it blank and only their year of death will be displayed.
Q. What do I enter as their town of residency?
A. This is used to enable people wishing to contribute to identify the correct fund. Enter the place with which they are most associated – this might be the place in which they died, or the place in which they spent the majority of their lives.
Q. What do I enter in the message box?
A. This is the message that is displayed on the main fund page. An example might be, “Anne was loved and admired by all who knew her. We will all miss her friendly smile and comforting manner. Please help us to remember her by donating to this fund in order that her name will go on and that cancer may someday be cured.” To see what other people have written, take some time to look at some of the funds that have already been set up.
Q. Can I change the message?
A. Yes. At any time in the future, you can log in using the user name and password you chose, and make changes to any of the details you have entered.

Q. What size should the picture be?
A. In order to display correctly, the picture should be 165 pixels wide by 140 pixels high. If it is not this size it may be slightly distorted when displayed on the main fund page.
Q. Can I send AICR the picture I want to use?
A. Yes. If you would like us to resize the picture for you, simply attach it to an email and send it to info@aicr.org.uk
Q. I’m really not that computer literate – could AICR set-up the fund for me?
A. Yes. If you would like us to set the fund pages up on your behalf simply send an email to info@aicr.org.uk with the details. We will do the rest.
Q. What do I do on the “Inform Others” page?
A. This is a quick and easy way to let people know that the fund has been set up. If you don’t want to do it immediately, simply copy and paste the link into a document and save it. Later, you can then paste this link into emails to anybody you wish to inform about the fund. If you want to do it right away, click the “send an email” link and this will create a new email containing the link to the fund. All you have to do is enter the email addresses of the people you wish to tell about the fund along with an appropriate message.
