In the 27 years since AICR began its work, we have funded individual research projects in every corner of the world. Many of today's most renowned scientists have benefitted from the funds our loyal donors have contributed.
Sometimes it can be easy to believe that the fight against cancer is a hopeless one. This is far from the truth. AICR concentrates on research investigating the building blocks of life and how we might stop cancer from starting or developing. Many of the discoveries that are made in the research which we fund is taken up by other scientists and developed further.
