A pensioner from Dover has scaled new heights by completing her first skydive in aid of cancer research. 74 year old Valerie Measey, from Whitfield in Dover, jumped from 12,000 feet to raise funds for AICR. "It's been a lifelong ambition of mine to do a tandem jump and I decided to take the plunge before my 75th birthday at the end of this month," explained Valerie. "I've given money to AICR for years and I thought this challenge was a good opportunity to ask others to do the same. I wasn't scared at all and it was an amazing experience"
