Prize Draw & Raffle Winners

Prize draws form an important part of AICR's fundraising efforts. Not only do they raise millions of pounds for vital research, but they provide our supporters with fun and an opportunity to win some great prizes while helping us at the same time.

To date, our Direct Mail Prize Draws and raffles have raised over £155 million. This is a huge amount of money and has allowed us to fund pioneering research into cancer all over the world. In 2004 we introduced online competitions to allow our supporters from all over the world to get involved. The full list of prizes and winners is simply too long to show on this page, but here are the facts and figures from the past couple of years. Winter Raffle 2003

 

Congratulations to Mr. Barnes from Coventry on winning first prize in AICR's Winter Raffle. Here he is being presented with his new Hyundai Getz by Joan Paxton, our Financial Adminstrator. We wish Mr. Barnes many hours of happy motoring!

 

Summer Raffle 2003

 

Well done to Mrs. Thistlethwaite of Wirral who won first prize in the AICR Summer Raffle. Her winning ticket was chosen from the many thousands who entered - here she is receiving her Vauxhall Corsa Active from AICR Chairman, John Matthews OBE, on 27th November 2003.

 

The second prize of a camcorder and DVD/VCR was won by Mrs. Burrows of Shrewsbury. 20 runners-up each received £50 worth of high street vouchers. The Summer Raffle was a huge success raising well over £300,000. We would like to thank everybody who took part.
