BBC Radio / TV Presenter and Journalist Nicky Campbell took some time out of his busy schedule on 15th July to visit the AICR offices in St Andrews. Just back from 3 and a half weeks at the World Cup in South Africa, Nicky was in town covering The Open Championship for BBC Radio 5 Live.
AICR's e-Commerce Manager, Jack Cumming, gave Nicky a tour of the offices and explained how we choose which cancer research projects to fund, and also chatted about the many advances in cancer treatment made over the past few years.
"It was an inspiring visit", said Nicky. "The team there do a wonderful job which they very kindly allowed me to interrupt for an hour!"
During his visit, Nicky spoke to many members of staff and had time to look at the book of photographs produced by the Leica Camera forum which is raising money for AICR.
