Lorraine is best known to millions of viewers as the presenter of LK Today on GMTV. Although originally from Glasgow, Lorraine has local links as her husband is from just up the road in Dundee where AICR has funded many cancer research projects over the years. She is also a keen Dundee United supporter.
Speaking about the fight to cure cancer Lorraine told us,

Everyone knows someone - a relative, a friend, a colleague - who has been told that they have cancer. Many loved ones do not survive and the gap they leave in our lives can never be filled. But, thanks to pioneering research, many more people are being successfully treated and cured. I believe the Association for International Cancer Research, through its unique and independent approach of funding the best scientists and the most valuable studies worldwide, is making huge progress towards detecting, treating and preventing the disease. I am delighted to lend my support and look forward to hearing about future successes. |  |
