Last year, our marathon runners smashed their sponsorship target, and this year we’re looking to raise the bar once again!
We’re hoping to raise more than £75,000 in the 2011 London Marathon – but we need your help to get there!
We’re on the lookout for passionate and dedicated individuals to join Team AICR and run in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon – raising money for our vital cancer research along the way!
Got a Place in the Ballot?
Great! Please consider using it to run for AICR. We are the world’s leading international cancer research charity, but we can’t continue funding our vital research without your help. Get in touch to let us know that you’d like to join our Team and we’ll send you everything you need to get started!
There’s no minimum sponsorship target for ballot place runners – all we ask is that you raise as much as you possibly can!
Looking for a Place?
We have now filled all of our Golden Bond places but if you would like to be put on our reserve list then please email us for more information.
We ask runners to raise a minimum of £2000 in return for a Golden Bond place.
Join Team AICR and you’ll receive;
- A welcome pack including a running vest, t-shirt and tips and advice on fundraising
- Full training support in the run up to the big day including tips, email updates, and first-hand advice from staff who have run the marathon
- Unsurpassed support on race day from us and support materials for your family/friends
