The Bupa Great North Run, the world’s biggest half marathon, took place on Sunday 20th September in Gateshead, Newcastle. 54,000 runners were taking part in this years marathon and the atmosphere was electric!

One of those runners taking part was Mark Lochrin from East Kilbride in Scotland. Mark was running on behalf of AICR and was hoping to raise some vital funds.
Mark is married to Marie and has 2 children, Cara and Sam. He works as a Team leader for Networkers MSB and is a devoted Celtic football fan! Mark is renowned for his quick wit, sense of humour and ability to regale others with his amusing take on life.
