Competition Winners

Competitions form an important part of AICR's fundraising efforts. Not only do they raise millions of pounds for vital research, but they provide our supporters with fun and an opportunity to win some great prizes while helping us at the same time.

Since 1985 our Prize Draws have raised £56,180,683 and our Raffles have raised £6,631,922. This is a huge amount of money and has allowed us to fund cutting edge research into cancer all over the world. The full list of prizes and winners is simply too long to show on this page, but here are the facts and figures from the past couple of years. We would like thank the many hundreds of thousands of our supporters who have taken part.

Since the end of 2004, AICR has had 947 winners!

The start of the next competition will be announced shortly. Congratulations to David who won a fantastic Portable DVD Player.

Third Internet Competition

Our third Internet competition of 2004 took place during September and October and was our most successful to date. The lucky winner of the ever popular Apple iPod was Edwin Kuleska from Texas - our first winner in the USA! Once more we would like to thank everyone who took part and especially those who made donations. We've said it before and we'll say it again - it is only through the kind donations made by entrants that we can run these competitions which help so much towards our vital work.

Second Internet Competition

iPod

Our second Internet competition of 2004 took place in July and we are pleased to announce that the Apple iPod was won by Vincent Mather of Cheshire. The response to this competition was even greater than the first and the level of donations was also higher. Thank you to everyone who took part and especially those who made donations.

Our first ever online competition was won by Martina McKenna from Northern Ireland. Martina is a very active online competition player and commented, "I am delighted to win the digital camera, and even happier that the competition was in aid of such a worthwhile cause."

Many thanks to everyone who took part, and a special "thank you" to those who made a donation towards our important work. It is only through the generosity of like-minded people that we can continue to fund our growing number of cancer research projects.

Summer Raffle 2003
