Competitions form an important part of AICR's fundraising efforts. Not only do they raise millions of pounds for vital research, but they provide our supporters with fun and an opportunity to win some great prizes while helping us at the same time.
Since 1985 our Direct Mail Prize Draw Competitions have raised £61,542,109 and our Raffles have raised £7,282,053. This is a huge amount of money and has allowed us to fund cutting edge research into cancer all over the world. In 2004 we introduced online competitions to allow our supporters from all over the world to get involved. The full list of prizes and winners is simply too long to show on this page, but here are the facts and figures from the past couple of years. Our fifth Internet competition took place in June/July and we are pleased to announce that the Apple iPod Touch was won by Kormany Zsigmond of Hungary.

The second prize of a camcorder and DVD/VCR was won by Mrs. Burrows of Shrewsbury. 20 runners-up each received £50 worth of high street vouchers. The Summer Raffle was a huge success raising well over £300,000. We would like to thank everybody who took part.
