AICR hosted a Christmas themed Coffee Morning in conjunction with the Cupar Flower Show on Saturday 15th of November 2008 in the YMCA in Cupar, Fife. Along with all the usual stalls AICR was selling their own Christmas cards and merchandise to help raise funds.
The support from local shops and business was gratefully appreciated. We received gifts for our raffle and hamper from:
- Luvian's - The Bottle Shop
- Bonkers
- Carlton Bakeries
- Fairmont Hotel - 60 minute luxury spa treatment
We would like to thank everyone for their efforts for the coffee morning, whether it was baking, donating items, or for selling hamper/raffle tickets.
A big thank you to the AICR's Geraldine, Kate, Douglas and Suzanne for helping out on the day and especailly to Jill and husband Carl for making the journey through from Glasgow to help out.
Between the two organisations we raised just over £900, so once expenses are taken off, AICR's split of the day will be around £450. There was a lot of interest in the AICR stall, which took in £66.40.
There were a number of raffle winners within AICR; Aileen, Norman, Sarah and Kate - well done!
The hamper was won by Mrs M Osler of Cupar.
