YouTube allows people to easily upload and share video clips on uk.YouTube.com and across the Internet through websites, mobile devices, blogs and email.
AICR decided to apply to become part of the YouTube Non-profit Programme as we felt that it would be a powerful platform to inform people, get them to participate and increase awareness of our organisation. The AICR Channel also allows us greater interaction with our existing donors, supporters and volunteers as they can keep up to date with the fundraising events that have taken place.
Here is an example of one of the videos that is on our channel. We posted this video of David Tennant talking about AICR and within one month we had over 6,000 video views!
